this guitar is cool, much better than those stupid future guitars like the black fire or whatever its called

sure it's ridiculous to put a floyd on a les paul, but man i love the way this thing plays and sounds O.O

Gibson's sound great with distortion but play them clean and they sound like 1000's of others!! Strats are much more versatile - probably why Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, Jeff Beck, Richie Blackmore, SRV, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Johnson, Mark Knofler, Yngwie Malmsteen, Hank Marvin, Buddy Guy and thousands of others play them!!

Then you have a sub-par Gibson. My R9 sounds fantastic on a clean setting. It even sounds good unplugged.
