good day sir i see ur video is very helpfull.im a civil engineer and became interested in 3ds max.cause i see it is very usefull to present the render project to the client.and just few weeks im trying to teach my self in 3d max.uhhm i have questions,i making 3d models to the autocad and when im importing or attaching it to 3d max every time id applied materials to the object it is not sscaled what i mean is it is not fit to the object units are ok. thanks sir.
@971655hyden your materials are scaled wrongly? (large bricks, etc?) you probably need to modify the unwrap of the object. the last video in this series covers unwraps... but this video series is not aimed at beginners so does not explain basic concepts like unwrapping. Also, consider going to a forum to ask further questions. youtube isnt really the place for Q&A.

Great vid mate, may I ask how did you make toolbar to the left of top viewport?

@fredz23 Customize menu > Customise user interface > Toolbars tab > New > (type name)
this brings up a little floating window. drag it to the very left, and it should snap (watch the icon under the mouse)
from there, just drag and drop commands/actions from the "Customise User Interface" window's Toolbar menu.
