First an apology, as the first part of this Let's Play is just me messing about with and showing you the lovely customisability of this game with it's expansive options. You might want to skip to Part 2 to get straight to the gameplay. For anyone interested in what mechanics the game offers though, you might want to watch this first part!

Streets of Rage Remake is basically the best version of Streets of Rage that may well ever exist. It takes everything good from the entire series and mashes it all together to create a experience that is new yet familiar, but still hugely satisfying to play. This final version (version 5) was released on the 3rd of April 2011 and was free to download. However, a few days later, the download link has now been taken down due to action from Sega. We don't know any details on what exactly will come of this. Visit Bombergames website for more details.

But yeah, I didn't plan to crawl through the options this long. Apologies, but some people seem to have appreciated the look at the really expansive options.

is this the game that was done by bomber games? did you have to unlock all the characters or did they come with the download?

@parag3247 Yup, this is the final version Bomber Games released. You unlock characters by accumulating points/money by completing the game and then purchasing characters from the Shop option (I had unlocked all characters by the time I started recording - took maybe 3-4 playthroughs). But, I think there's a save file you can just hack or you might be able to download one from somewhere that has everything unlocked.

Hi i have a bit the same question. I downloaded a version of the game with eerything unlocked, and there is an option to choose the other versions of teh charater ( i mean, V2 or V3 with axel, skate etc) . Just which button do i have to press in this menu to select those other versions? i see people doing it, but i'm not sure how. And if you mention a button please tell me which kinda button that is, cause i changed my controls from regular

I know the answer now (actually for quite some while) on my question. I had to press that sort of 'special'button that makes the police come. Press that, and you will get an alternateive version of that character. This only works for characters that *have* alternatieve versions, so basicly characters that appear in multiple sequals games of the game, so axel (3 versions) , skate (2), blaze (3) shiva (2). They also have the *moves* from that certain game (+ some more)

lolololol,i just smoked a fat joint before the cut scenes..and the first 2 seconds i thought it was theyre voices..and then i realized it was you who translated them,i laughed so fucking hard dude..it was so fucking funny,thanks for the laughs..looking forward to the gameplay,greetings from norway,you rock :)))
