@GreatBigSmellyFart It really sounds like you are just spouting off random pilot sounding jargon that doesn’t even apply, but mostly I think you like to hear the sound of your own voice spouting off to make you feel smarter than you are. Become a CFI and then you can critique other peoples flying.

It looked good to me.

i thought u said it was a hard landing

Did you see the size of that house in the background?!?!

sound would be nice next time

@RockMancuso agreed and you can't even get the IAS off looking out the window. I'm not sure about the states (or wherever you guys are from) but in Canada we do a lesson called "illusions crated by drift" and in any wind it basically means you can't determine the speed from outside the aircraft. (sound is different) but still agreed nicely called

@GreatBigSmellyFart He knows about the percentage factors of wet or dry grass etc. He has just been teaching me about it in uni. He is also a CAA examiner

can't tell shit looking out the side window.
he landed and got out though!

intense landing
I'm sorry, I must have missed the shot of the airspeed indicator that tells you he's flying the approach too fast. And are you seriously gonna tell me that if you're landing on a 1000 foot strip you're just gonna let the plane roll out? Soft field brake usage is perfectly safe if done carefully, believe me. How do you know he didn't overfly the field before? How do you know he didn't pick up the AWOS from a nearby field? Before you talk shit, have at least some proof that you're right.

Its not like its made of tissue paper. These little planes are more rugged than most people realize.Believe me when they were being designed the engineer kept in mind the abilities of the average pilot.
