Kevin: Bro, wake up.
Joe: *rubs his eyes* I'm up. -sighs- well, let me get ready. I'm meeting up with my friends.
Kevin: Okay. Well, hurry up dude.
Joe: *laughs* okay. *gets ready*

-After Awhile-

Joe: But, I gotta go some place else before I go to my friends.
Kevin: Well. okay, be careful.
Joe: I'm not a baby anymore Kev.
Kevin: *rolls his eyes* Sure.
Joe: *goes to the meadows and sees Demi* Hey.
Demi: *turns to him*
Joe: I'm gonna meet up with the others, wanna come with?
Demi: *looks down*
Joe: It'll be more fun if there's more of us. *holds out his hand*
Demi: *turns away* Need I remind you to NOT get involved with me? *walks away*
Joe: *stares at her*

-Meanwhile-

(With Joe walking to Taylor's)

???: HEY JOE!
Joe: *startled and jumped a little* Selena! Stop fri--
Selena: *runs to him and hugs him really tight*
Joe: Why do you always do this?
Selena: What?
Joe: You know, hug me really, I mean REALLY tight whenever you have the chance to see me.
Selena: Oh, *giggles* It's just that, it's really good to see you. I mean you're the Promised One after all.
Joe: What do you mean about me being the--
Selena: Don't waste my powers okay?
Joe: Uhh-- Okay?
Selena: -smiles-
Taylor: JOE! OVER HERE! *waves at him, smiling wide*
Joe: Oh, hey Taylor! Hey guys! Well I gotta-- She's gone already. *walks over to them*

--Meanwhile--

(At the Mall)

Emily: So, let's go watch a movie.
Mitchell: Okay
Taylor: Fine with me.
Joe: Sure.
Emily: *giggles* Okay.
???: Wait a Minute.
Emily, Joe, Mitchell, Taylor: *turn around*
Miley: I cannot believe that you would just ignore me and then just leave me here.
Joe: She sounds like.
Miley: *rolls her eyes* That's because I AM Miley.
Joe: Oh.
Miley: Well, you know. Uh Moe.
Joe: Uh- it's Joe.
Miley: Whatever, transfer student. You can always be one of MY followers.
Joe: I know, you told me that before.
Mitchell: Well, he doesn't want to be one of your followers.
Miley: SHUT UP MITCHELL!
Mitchell: Okay Ms. Cranky Pants.
Emily: *giggles quietly*
Mitchell: Aw. You're so cute when you giggle.
Emily: Aw. and you're so cute when you make fun of Miley.
Miley: -gasps- EMILY!
Emily: Sorry. *rolls her eyes*
Taylor: Well, we better go now. Bye Milez.
Miley: Ugh.

(They walk away)

Joe: Hey, umm. Let's go to the Forest.
Emily, Mitchell: Um- Ok.
Taylor: *looks down*

[While walking there, they found a suspension bridge]

Joe: Whoah. There's a suspension bridge here?
Emily: Yea. Well, some people say there's a monster on the other side of the bridge.
Mitchell: Aha! I don't believe in those non-sense. Come on, those are just tall-tales, they're not real.
Emily: I never said I believed it.
Taylor: *looked down*
Joe: [to Taylor] Hey, you okay?
Taylor: Umm, -sighs- *nods* -fake smiles-
Joe: Okay

--After that, all of them went home exept for Joe--

Joe: A monster, huh? *decides to on the other side* Gosh. *spots an old trailer* *looks around it* [sees an outfit that Demi was wearing yesterday]
*walks around until he saw a spring* *washes his hands* What a clean water. -smiles- [hears the water splash a bit and looks over] *his eyes widen
when he saw Demi in the spring and well, you know.* -blushes-
Demi: *mouth drops* -furious-

-Couple of seconds-

Joe: *really loud* OWWWW!

[crows fly off]

Demi: Why'd you come here?
Joe: -sighs- I wanted to see the monster.
Demi: *about to say somethin* -gets water in her eyes- *looks down*

(With Taylor)

Mr. Swift: So, what did you do today hun?
Taylor: Well, we hung out with Joe and showed him around a bit.
Mr. Swift: Well, it looks like that Joe guy went across the bridge.
Taylor: What?

(With Demi and Joe)

Demi: *eating snacks with Joe like the last time*
Joe: This is nice. Just like last time. *flashbacks about Demi getting beated up* Oh, sorry. *looks down*
Demi: Just hurry up and go home already.
Joe: -looks up- Isn't it okay for us to become friends, Demi?
Demi: *flashbacks when she was little*

Demi: *crying*
Blonde little girl: *hands her a candy*
Demi: *wipes her tears away*
Blonde little girl: *giggles*
*End of flashback*

Demi: *holds back tears* I don't need friends -looks down- *walks away*
Joe: W-why? *stands up* Why do you want people to hate you and just bully you like that? Wouldn't that just bring pain?
Demi: It's normal for me to be hated. I have to be hated by people.
Joe: *just stands there* [sees Taylor on the other side] Taylor?
Taylor: Joe.
Joe: -sighs- *crossed the bridge*

(With Joe and Taylor walking home together)

Joe: What's wrong Taylor? Why are you out here? It's already late.
Taylor: *stops* Joe, why'd you cross the bridge?
Joe: hmm. Well, I wanted to talk to Demi. Taylor, I have a question.
Taylor: What is it?
Joe: Why does everybody hate her? Did she do something at all?
Taylor: Well, *looks down* -sighs heavily- *looks up at Joe* Don't go near her.
Joe: What? -in desbelief-
