I'd tap that

maple syrup tastes better than refined sugar and I think they are nutritionally better than refined sugar.

I heard you can tap a sugargum tree, has anyone done that yet? I got a large 'nusance' tree to try.

First time trying it this year I'm hoping for the best and my blueberry waffles need some good homemade syrup

I'm a logger & sawyer in north Texas. We have tons of flame boxelder - do you think the flame version of acer negundo would taste different from regular boxelder?
Our winters get plenty cold enough to tap them I believe. Are we sup[posed to waint until we're having 20ish degree nights, followed by 40ish degree days?
Thanks for the video.
