This video is from highlights they showed the night #18 was retired never to be worn again by a Blackhawk. I was there. This guy was a treat to watch. When he had the puck the Stadium stood up and roared. All I got to say is thank you Montreal for picking Doug Wickenheiser. We were more then happy to watch your hometown boy for 13 years at a Chicago Blackhawk.

Savard was one of the greats. And you gotta love Pat Foley with the calls

Funny because I see MANY SIMILARITIES between Kovalev's style and Savard's. Almost uncanny how similar.

His skates even look similar to Kovalev's. :P
