How did you do the Bomb-Edge-Guarding-Thingie at 0:30? Please reply and explain :)

I just drop a bomb the second i'm over the edge then DI backwards and then forward while holding down on the control stick and hit B when I'm over the edge and do it again, you just need to get the timing right =)
