18. Yasashisa no Guuwa (AMV by PassionXxKyohaku, violin by DarknessOfTheViolin, piano by me)

Today is Kajiura Yuki's birthday! And to honour this I have started a very special project called FanFiction. FanFiction is a Kajiura Yuki tribute album. It features 6 musicians, 11 vocalists and 16 AMV editors from 15 countries. The album has 20 tracks and is over 70 minutes in length. It took me roughly 400 hundred hours and I've worked on it for the past one-and-a-half years!

Of the two songs she did with me, this is Vera's favourite. The play is subtle and gentle. Brings me to tears every time!

@duVillage Thanks! It is a very beautiful instrument, it sounds better when there isn't a lot of user failure on my part though. xD

@sailorrainbowpony If you really are 21, it will be hard for you, I won't lie. Violin is one of the hardest instruments to learn. And, more than for other instruments, you need a natural ability to be able to learn violin. But if you have the potential, I hope you will be great! Don't give up too soon, because unlike piano it will take quite a while before it sounds any good. Don't expect to be great in a year, you need to invest a lot of hours in this!

@duVillage : ) Yeah, that is my real age, my username on here is well a long story. xD This account was originally made for my younger sister but somehow I ended up using it and she made another one. Ah yeah I expected it would be rough, I've wanted to play since middle school but the cost of lessons and the instrument were too much. I finally persuaded my family to let me buy a violin this year a few weeks ago actually but it really is more of something to learn for fun.
