  • It's been two years since I posted this video and I'm overwhelmed by the response it has had. I'm so pleased that so many people find it as wonderful as I do. The man is a legend and this song still makes me cry every time I hear it.

  • City to City was my first Rafferty album ... and I was dumbstruck by how perfectly he put to music, all the things written in my heart. I will always treasure his gift to me, as I'm certain so many others do. Thank you, Gerry, for your gentle genius.

  • It says it all, doesn't it.

  • @maulanf as good as music gets full stop!

  • Love his songs....ya gotta hear 'em "loud" give you chills.....

  • absolute classic song uplifting, exciting, makes you reflect on life..... plus he was a good paisley man like me RIP Gerry you're the man

  • Still brings goose pimples out even after all these years. I'll never forget you, Gerry.

  • I love this song, it is so much and more, what I feel, Memories. Someday everything I ever thought or imagined, I will see it and photograph it! It will become another memory!

  • Some songs float on the surface..then there are some that sink deep and reach the soul..like this one does for me. Thank you Gerry Rafferty

  • @kathykay2010 There are plenty of those like Gerry. They just never get too famous because of their goodness. One artist that comes to mind who you may or may not like is Edie Brickel. She sings from the heart and is beautiful all the way through.

  • An immense song, by an immense singer/songwriter. Gerry you were just immense.

  • I can imagine a House M. D.'s episode finishing with this music at the back and House at the piano.
