I agree with frufru. His interpretation is superlative, and his voice is magnifico. Bravo!

@frufruJ But NOT to me.

@qwertyoop That´s more like a tenor attitude... :-)

@ezayi isnt that what a baritone should be like though? ;)

Though I was hoping for that high Ab at the end lol

People spend too much time comparing singers to one another.

@eurydike Sorry he stinks and would be a comprimario if he had lived during Warren's lifetime!

@finetoonanimation no, he is Hvorostovsky :)), fortunately. living, singing, bringing joy.

I like his voice very much. One could think he has a big voice when you hear this videos but in the theater doesn´t sound big. What I still don´t buy is his interpretation. It seems to me he´s so full of himself and isn´t sincere. It seems more like "look at me, how fabulous I am and how good I look" than interpreting whatever he is singing. That´s been always my impression. Though I like his voice!

@ezayi I've heard him live, and he does make sufficient sound. And to me, he does sound sincere, it's just a matter of perception.

dear sir: you are NOT a verdi baritone. no amount of overdarkening will change that.

Dear sir: you are NOT an ultimate authority on singing, and no amount of YT comments will change that.
He won at Cardiff with Per me giunto. You are sitting at your computer. Find one difference.
