A very good and resourceful idea! Why waste it just cos of dead elastic? Thanks

I'm SO happy I looked this up!! I was getting ready to send it out to my Mom but now I can do it!! Thanks for the video, it helped me SO much. And the technique of threading the elastic through, attaching the new to the old... What a great idea! I just started repairing CD's and appreciate this video!!

Approximately how long does it take you to do one diaper? Do you replace the back elastic as well as both leg elastics?

thanks for this! Did you ever figure out about how much elastic it takes for a one-size fitted, like a goodmama? I just know I'd end up with one leg tighter than the other or something! :)

@lauralita44 I used 6" of elastic in each leg. I recently replaced a back elastic and used 5 1/2" for it. I hope that helps!

It probable took me about 10 minutes each. The hardest part was unstitching the original elastic. After that it was a breeze. I only replaced the leg elastic. The back elastic was still in fine shape. If it needs replaced, simply follow the same instructions. Good luck!
