We are considering moving there> Do you recommend it. I am moving from Florida and have never seen snow in 46 years. I gather this is just an occasional thing right?

Yes, snow is quite rare, usually only falling every other year around Mar/Apr. Otherwise it is most often hot, in my experience it isn't til Nov that it starts cooling which lasts til Mar. It's already started to warm up. However, unlike FL, the heat is dry and rarely humid. Beaumont does get windy all throughout the year. Now is a great time to buy here, there are thousands of new houses and quite a few foreclosures and dropping of home values everywhere. Feel free to contact me for more info.

that happened three years earlier during the week to thanks giving it was supposed to 70 degrees that day but then we got over 2in on ground it was great

Yup, and now it's in the 100's. I'm wishing it was still cool like in the vid, altho maybe not that cold :)
