First heard Danny in 1961. Singers like this just don't appear on the scene anymore...regardless of what Simon Cowell would say With all the technology and studio gimmickry nobody would sound like this. Crystalline clear and polished. Music from a timeless, talent filled era.

I totally agree with your sentiments. Although i like Andy Williams version of 'Moon River' also but i've always regarded Danny's Version as the Definitive One.

in the early 1960s there was a singer who sang in a similar style to danny williams. his name was michael london. he did a lovely version of strangers on the shore. can anyone help me with this.
