I did a Turbonetics kit at 10 psi on a stock KA, with 550cc injectors, walbro fuel pump, fuel regulator, NGK iridium plugs, cometic head gaske, and emanage ; and i can tell you, is freaking fast and strong, and i really push it on the pedal everyday to work!!! the only thing that bothers me is the chain tensioner that rattles no matter what, i changed it 3 months ago and still.
Nice car btw!!

and if you swap to a sr where do you go in town to get parts o wait you cant lol

i agree with last post, video of car or music video?
-
Gay! isnt half the purpose of a video to hear the car??

Hey man! Hows the Greddy turbo kit performing? anyway i just got a S14 and like you i prefer KA-T instead of SR20 and one reason is freakin CA smog law. Easy bolt on after smog LoL... How much did it cost you for the whole kit? and did you purchase it with a FMIC? or just the kit itself with a pipe from turbo to throttle body?
-
6-8psi, 8 is limit, I would keep it safe and stay at 6 or 7
-
im thinking about getting this setup done, how much does it cost for the turbo kit, and how much psi can i put out on it safely (stock KA motor)

I like your setup. I have a '95 240sx and want to get the 20g Greddy turbo kit. How much did that whole thing cost plus tuning and dyno time?
hay if I get 240 sx KA 24DE
do i beter swap to sr20 or get turbo kit
for KA24

I would have to say go KAT. I picked to go KA turbo for many reasons over going SR for example, the cost to go KA turbo and to do a SR swap are about the same but there are added benefits of going KA turbo. With the Ka turbo setup you will still have an A/C in your car. If you wanted to add A/C to an SR swap you are going to spend at least $500 or more to get it done right. One of my biggest point is, if you blow up your SR you will have to spend a lot of money and time to get another motor.

There are plenty more reasons but my fingers are getting tired of typing. So to conclude both the KA and the SR are good motors but to me it is just to much extra money, time and a headache to go SR.

As much as 500hp @ 30psi (it's been done) but it's not a 100% reliable setup. I would say 300-350hp @ about 15-18psi is just about 100% reliable motor as long as it is tuned correctly and has a thicker and stronger head gasket. The HG and the pistons are the weak link in the stock motor. The stock pistons will withstand 300-350 but that is pushing its limits. If u want to go any higher in power than 350hp just put some stronger pistons in & boost the shit out of it (as long as it is tuned).
