LOL at people saying it was a mistake to want this guy gone. Ask the ASU fans what they think now? For some reason all of them want him gone too. Guess the media should call them crazy and unreasonable too. Congrats to Herb on getting an undeserved extension. Have fun with him ASU! I bet you guys love your boring brand of basketball. He reached his peak at state and he passed his peak at ASU and is on the decline now. Everyone will still act like we messed up no matter how bad he does...

Yallcan say "I told ya so" all yall want, but ASU isnt exactley a good baketball program. im an nc state fan, hes the best coach weve had in several years, and we deserve EVERY SINGLE LOSS WE GET forever. Rumor has it herb might go to GA Tech and if he does, he will beat the hell out of us barring he fat that we dont discover a young unknown coach that wiill be successful to replace sidney lowe

I wonder what ASU fans think about ole Herb NOW. I hate to say it, but I told you so. It doesn't take Herb very long to hit his ceiling, which is barely squeaking into the NCAA tournament, then an early exit. It won't take ASU fans long before they grow weary of his weak brand of basketball, too. He's like training wheels for a program. He can elevate it a little, but eventually the training wheels have to come off and a GOOD coach brought in to replace him.

For the last time, we didn't run Herb out of town. He got a $600K/year raise by leaving us. If not for that offer from ASU, he'd still be here boring us to death.

NC State will never be what it used to be in basketball. As for ASU, Herb Sendek is a perfect fit. Him and ASU will never win a championship, but at least they'll consistently make the NIT, and every now and then, the NCAA.
