There wasn't a dry eye in the stadium! Had he performed this at Yankee Stadium, you would've literally heard the crowd weeping, cuz Ray sang the song of his life... Although Ray Charles was a legend before this, this definitely made him Immortal !!!

@rikflair I would not have made it through the first minute with dry eyes; I'm impressed that you were able to but it does look like it wasn't easy.
I've long said that if I were in charge of things this would be the National Anthem and Ray Charles would be the only person allowed to sing it.

I am retiring from the Army this year, after 20 years. I have said this was my finest moment in those 20 years. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have searched for this for years. I am the one holding the American Flag. I have never been prouder to wear my uniform, than on the special day. I also was able to carry the US Flag for the Diamondbacks first home game after 9-11 that year. Looking for that video as well.
