  • If you can't allow yourself to be moved by the emotions in music and only focus on it's sounding "good", you miss something important that goes far beyond sound.

  • Hey, people... Shouldn't we be happy that we have different versions and different approaches to this music? Isn't it wonderful and doesn't it show the power of this music that it "tolerates" different interpretations? (in contrast to pop music) Why quarrel who's "better" or "worse"?

  • Man right after the piece ended all I could think of was "Holy Shit!"

  • The great Mravinsky for ever...

  • Evgeni or Yevgeni Mravinsky was the only aristocrat at a place and age where aristocrats were not permited, what a performance!!!

  • Is he chewing gum?

  • very different and unusual interpretation. it looks like somebody is running after Mravinski

  • nazalost, ton nije dobar - al svejedno danas ne sviramo nis bolje...dapace!

  • Mravinsky was one of the last of the Great conductors. His Brahms is stirring & tonally perfect. His tempo & rhythm are haunting. This is a fabulous performance, equal to his Tchaikovsky symphonies. Bravo!

  • THIS IS THE POWER...
