Just returned home and miss this place already. Not only on a unique location and perfectly designed, but also an amazing staff that treats you as family! It really feels like home. If you go the Gambia, you do not want to miss out on this!

The place of my dreams. Absoluttely. Considering of going to Gambia for a reflexion time and some sun, but want for sure stay one day at the Mandina Lodge, no doubt abt it. :) peace

This place is amazing - I stayed there. James and Lawrenece, the owners, employ and train a lot of local people and also support local conservation work, dancers and musicians and craftworkers. Amazing bird life on the river - wake up to a family of pied kingfishers flying past or baboons crunching river oysters on your deck!.
