This is my adaptation of a design for a geothermal house using horizontal cooling pipes below the basement, solar heating from the roof, both going to an Alcohol or Ammonia heat transfer unit to make electricity, cooling, and heating.

  • what freaks me out is that if we had made an investment in electric cars and geothermal homes and geothermal plants in the 70s when carter said he wanted to pursue a post petrol economy we'd be out of the woods right now. imagine not needing to go to Iraq to secure oil because we were 100% taken care of through domestic geothermal?

Sad that our elected officials follows the money instead of common sense.
