  • Bad ass setup man. My house stays about the same temp as yours (like 68-72). Do I need the heat panel AND the flexwatt? Or should I just get the panel?

  • @AmsterdamFire321 all you really need is the panel. i have flexwatt in the female cages just for some exta warmth during breedings

  • @rodriguez491 Sweet thanks man. Where do you put the thermostat probe for the panel?

  • @AmsterdamFire321 i put it in one of the bottom cages in the air between the heat panel and the floor

  • @CrestedBoa youll definitely need a thermostat. i bought the ranco thermostat and all of my cages heat pads and heat panels on it. you can find one online for probably around 80 dollars

  • @rodriguez491 oh I see thanks, do you keep your heat panels on a thermostat to control how hot it gets or just let it heat by itself?

  • @CrestedBoa theyre great cages, and you can click the option the get the cage with a heat panel already installed in the cage, im not sure what size it is but itll work fine my room is usually 70 to 68 degrees and they keep the cages great

  • cool man, i might be getting the 421d for my male boa in about 5-6 months. I was wondering if you know the right radiant heat panel size for this cage? my room is usually from 73-75 degrees during day.

  • @rodriguez491 a few, and a few new ones starting up in the next few months so hopefully we should be able to get these style of cages without the high prices.

  • @snakeboi1994 oh man that sucks :( theyre great cages, are there any good cage makers in the UK?
