BJD Restringing Tutorial Part 3b

Supplies: Sturdy string

Instructions:

-Feed the leg elastic into the body, knot first.
-Pull tight, but not into the body.
-Stick the s-hook onto the elastic.
-Place the bobby pin inbetween the elastic and the body, to keep it from sliding in.
-Seperate the elastic, try not to overlap it too much.
-Pull one side of each piece of elastic, to get the knots inside of the body, but not coming out the neckhole.
-Stick each peice through the matching hip piece (you should be able to get it in the whole just by pushing with your finger. If not, get a chopstick or pencil).
-Start sliding on the parts of the doll.
-When you get all but the foot, pull the elastic until it sticks out far enough for you to grab it.
-Grab the elastic, remove the string, replace it with the foot.

Tips: The reason I put the string in knot first is because otherwise, the knots take up a lot of room in the head. If you have the knots in the chest instead it saves a lot of space and makes changing eyes and the likes, much easier.
