Their only hit. Made it to the top of the charts in 6/66 for Bell Records but it was originally recorded and released in 1/66 on Hush records. Larry Ray played 12-string on the studio recording but Jim Sawyer is playing 12-string in this video.

Hey, little girl, you don't have to hide nothin' no more
You didn't do nothin' that hadn't been done before

Little girl thought she wouldn't get caught, you see
She thought she'd get away with goin' out on me, yeah

Other girls did it, you didn't think of nothin' new
You went out on me, so other girls did it too

You can leave, little girl, I don't want you 'round no more
If you come knockin', you won't get past my door... yeah!

You got nothin' to hide and everybody knows it's true
Too bad, little girl, it's all over for you... ha-ha-ha-ha

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • @MrRoadster100

Love Rickenbackers. Jim McGuinn played one and so did George Harrison.

  • WE USED TO PLAY THIS SONG IN OUR BAND THE REACTIONS IN 1966-67.ALWAYS A TOP HIT.

  • Shut up, Dick (Clark)!!!! lol

  • I recall the Syndicate had a minor chart record after this, called "Rumors." Anyone have a recording of that?

  • The Banned did a cover of this track in the 70s. Love the original though, first time I've heard it!

  • A good song! Still sounds good!

  • For purposes of clarification: Original member Larry Ray played the 12-string guitar

on the studio recording and later member Jim Sawyers is playing the Rickenbacker 12

on the music video that everyone sees. (Great '60s sound, there.)
