http://www.trail-hiking.com -- Parts of the Historic Columbia River Highway have become impassable for vehicle use and some portions have been converted to trail use. This is the portion of the trail that starts at the Senator Mark O. Hatfield trailhead, near Mosier. It's main feature is a couple of tunnels. The views of the Columbia River are inspiring as usual. The rock formations next to the trail are fascinating and the wildflowers are just now coming into bloom.
