The kids managed to change the past and alter the future to make it better. How nice that would be for all of us who have made a lot of mistakes in life. How id love to be transported back into the past and correct the mistakes ive made in order to make a better future for myself. Lifes so unfair

@Sagapoalex It WAS their destiny.
However, Jumanji changes that destiny, as we've seen. It was most likely their destiny to stop their parents from going on the trip, which would explain why Judy and Peter specifically were the ones that found Jumanji. (We learn in the cartoon that Jumanji chooses who it calls out to)
