I had Frank every year while at Lakeridge, and this chair lecture has stuck with me (graduated in '91, so I am also old). He was the best teacher I had, and I appreciate him more now then I did then!

Ooh, this reminds me... did anyone make a video of that song Marcus Andersson sang for McLanahan when he retired? That was fantastic.

I had McLanahan in 1995, this is seriously the SAME lecture we got. Heck, the CHAIR is even the same. That was a funny class. Too bad there is no video of the fly!

I had Frank for my senior english class and this video brings back A LOT of memories. If you didn't have him as a teacher you'll never understand. I'm almost 30 and I still think of his class. He was funny, touching, daring, over the top and also very thoughtful. We Need More Teachers like him!! He is a legend and all who had him and understood him will understand why.

oh man... the chair talk!!! I SOOOOOOO REMEMBER THAT CLASS SESSION! this guy was nuts, he pretty much made my senior year.

this isn't about being american. it's hilarious if you had him as a teacher. this bit of footage barely shows a glimpse what we went through everytime we sat in that class. by far the best class at lhs. amazing and ridiculously hilarious experience. if you're hating on it/think it's not funny, being american has nothing to do with it. you just obviously didn't have him as a teacher and you don't understand.
