Because Sanae is such a good girl... Anyway, here I did a terrible, terrible misuse of the trance button and entered the special mode at the wrong time with those crappy big fairies instead of going at the flying spirits. DON'T DO WHAT I DID. Let alone dying like I did. Recovering from a death here seems to be just as punishing as in MoF, SA and UFO, although the worst were MoF and SA where one single death would pretty much ruin your entire score.

More point blanking action and battles against the zombie loli. Look how cute she is, she even waves her arms zombie-like! Expect plenty of guro manga featuring her... Ouch. I didn't say that, just ignore it.

Ok, so this is a graveyard. Pity it's not the GRAVEYARD MAINFRAME or anything Hellsinker related.

Back to the mechanics, this combination of Dangun Feveron, Ketsui and DOJ hypers could technically work but the whole point blanking drives me mad because the bullets are so small and you'll end up having bullets spawning over your character in several situations.

The effect of the trance mode isn't that exhilarating either but this is Crimzon Clover's fault, a game that adds exaggeration on top of the word exaggeration.

Overall, I feel this is a solid release by ZUN, definitely a step up over UFO and the frantic search for pesky UFO ships. If you hated previous releases, you are gonna love this one because it brings back the spell card practice and the continue-where-you-died system.

But he should really add some variety to the enemies. Maybe platforms with fairy cannons or bringing back the rose tanks...

And yes, by the end of the stage I was kind of bored so I bombed the boss general attacks. Talk about boredom and not wanting to weave through a cluster of mega small bullets.
