Four weeks in Salamanca provide the best environment for intensive study of Spanish, increasing linguistic competence and encouraging cultural interaction. Undergraduates have daily classes in language, culture, and literature. Graduate courses in literature, pedagogy, and linguistics are taught by guest professors. The program begins in Madrid, includes visits to Avila, Segovia, and El Escorial, and ends in Paris, France. Students may also visit Seville, Cordoba, and Granada.

@julmacinnis I lived there from 2005-06 and it was amazing. I too would love to take my family back one day! If in 1991 it was an amazing place to live then it's still the same!

Grrr, no soporto los acentos de los americanos en este vídeo. Me fastidian. Bueno, lo que el hombre dijo de que tu mundo amplia y extiende cuando te encuentras de estos tipos de situaciones. I spent one month in Spain this year and seriously, it changes you. Had five days in Salamanca - it was amazing. Coming from New Zealand, the old buildings really astound you!
En cuanto a los bares - O´Haras Irish pub right near Plaza Mayor is awesome...A hub for foreigners tho!

Wellcome to Salamanca. You will never forget this city. Once here, remenber that in the this University it was discussed the feasibility of the project of Christopher Columbus and the consequences of the possible discovery of a new westward path to India. Once discovered America, it was discussed the right of indigenous peoples to be recognized with full rights, something revolutionary for its time.

FABULOUS city! I studied there in winter of 1991 and had a ball! I'm sure it's changed a lot and I hope to go back with my family one day -- there is nothing quite like Salamanca. VIVA ESPANA!
