Greetings World
It has come to our attention that this year Sheppard Pratt hospital announced it's expansion of the exclusive mental health care facility The Retreat. In order to better serve the elite and wealthy 1%, it plans to move this premiere treatment facility outside its campus and into a residential neighborhood.

It's not likely that you could ever benefit from the Retreat. A stay at the retreat costs 2000 dollars per day. It will not accept any medical insurance. You must have substantial wealth to go there. In just one year the Retreat can generate over 11 million dollars.

But this story would not be complete if it did not show yet another example, of government and business working together to take from the 99%,
The government agency, that regulates and licenses Shepard Pratt is led by Josh Sharfsteen., who is the son of Sheppard Pratt's CEO, Steven Sharfsteen. Josh Sharfsteen. is a political appointee, who has a position of authority over decisions that will significantly benefit his father and his family.

Does this surprise any of you?

Sheppard Pratt is trying to protect its interests by using a Federal Law that allows medical service companies to buy and use homes in residential neighborhoods. The law is written so its use cannot be disputed. Any Civil Efforts to protest the process are criminalized.

They seek to expand the current protections of this law to keep a lucrative deal and the resulting conflict of interest from public scrutiny. If it succeeds it will open the door further for medical service companies to expand their facilities cheaply into surrounding neighborhoods.

This is happening all across the United States.

You can mobilize by making your voices heard to prevent The Retreat and others like it from opening facilities in residential neighborhoods.

Use all legal forms of expression and non-violent protest to send the message to other medical service companies eager to expand without public review.
The lobbyists that run the healthcare industry would like nothing more than to exploit the neighborhoods of the 99%.

We can stop them.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.
Expect us.

Someone once asked me how they could join Anonymous.
I said "You just did".
