Roma Victrix by Russell Whitfield. Gladiatrix Lysandra is back!

The Emperor Domitian has called for a command performance at Rome's newly built amphitheatre known to history as the Colosseum. Lysandra is invited to fight Rome's adored Gladiatrix Prima, the beautiful and deadly Illeana known as the Midnight Falcoln. Her record is devastating: thirty bouts; thirty wins.

Lysandra has to face up to all that she is and all that she must become as all roads lead to Rome.

  • anyone knows if the book will be published in polish ;/ ? I can speak english but i read gladiatrix in my own language so i want this one too

  • LUVIN IT!!!!

  • @aeonflux67 No, they have not. We have a brilliant cover designer at a UK agency called Black Sheep - her name's Lisa, and she's an absolute genius. I love her work :-)

  • @Lanista1 Oh I know that, but I was talking about the books cover. Thats a cover that leaps off of shelves. Donna Gilespie "The Lightbearer"...mentioned to me once her great work was initially let down by Berkeley-Penguin on its first release as the cover (I know the proverbial...dont judge a book by its cover but hey...a nice cover is a bonus) was very cheesy. Though I bought it and later bought the 2nd edition due to the splendid cover. Myrmidon havent made that mistake.

  • @aeonflux67 Hi man - this isn't a Myrmidon trailer, this was done by a very talented chap called Lee - follow him on twitter @CartoonBeardy

  • @aeonflux67 signed...Graeme from Australia

  • First comment :) Another beautiful rendered cover Russell mate. Myrmidonebooks really have style in their art department. Looking seriously forward to your 2nd work and another instalment in what is a very underrated and rarely attempted sub genre in Ancient history novels...the female gladiatrix.
