@longgoodbyeIreland thats true. but irish people were massacred by the british army and the unionists in the north were always protected by the british army. now a days or even back in the 1920s you could not go around killing thousands of people.

@longgoodbyeIreland i dont see how collins abandoned the people in the north. he was arming the ira in the north. collins was certainly not interested in money every penny he had he bought guns for the ira. no matter who had gone over to london they were not coming coming back with a 32 county republic. in fairness you cant just force unionsts to live in a united ireland.
