Jesus: you are ignorant and obnoxious. Diamonds have no resell value and they are not rare. Diamonds are unethical and tainted with children's blood and brain matter from africa. Which is more selfish, asking a man for a ego boost or asking a man to clear his savings for a piece of jewelry. I never imtended to tell people it is diamond. Moissanite is a gemstone and deserve to be respected as one. Now, please go away and buy youself some dirty diamonds to fuel the african wars. Yuck!!

Agonyshorts: i never said they were diamonds. Moissanites are pretty gemstones with different optical properties. They are highly reflective of their surroundings. So, under bright white light, they can look really white. I choose moissanite because it is ecomomical and pretty. Diamonds of the same specs will cost me around $4000. I only spend 1/8th of it.

@jesusjihadjerusalem It's not a fake diamond though. It's a stone on it's own. That's like saying a ruby is a fake garnet. Two different stones. And try selling a diamond again for the same price you bought it at. I bet you won't see it as an investment any longer.

After doing some research I realised that diamonds are overrated. Not to mention the resell value and upmarketing on them is horrible. The first time I saw a moissy I fell in love and knew that I wanted one as an engagement ring one day since my boyfriend is admantly against giving me my beloved blue topaz in a ring.

i love it, beautiful. I was gonna buy a 6.5 K diamond, but now that i'm going for moiss i'm only spending $1,300! Im using the extra money for my wedding :)

aside from the ethical standpoint...i think ashas and moissanite are prettier than diamonds. lol

only problem is, try to sell moissonite for same price u bought it and there will be no takers. try to resale diamond, and no problema. might as well wear cubic zirconia. everybody else may not know, but YOU will know you are wearing an imitation diamond. and at that point, why should u care about what others think? that just means your all about the competition / ego boost. never an admirable trait. what makes a man drop to his knees and give a woman a fake ring to boost her ego is beyond me.

Both rings are so so so gorgeous!!! I think it's so neat that moissanite turns turquoise under the sun and then brilliant white in the shade. The diamond is also a very very very stunning stone.

I want a moissanite ring now so I can spend all day looking at it. :D

Lovely! I don't see any yellow or green. Lots of blue and that nice steely color that give it so much depth! I have both diamonds and moissy. I love them both and 99% of the people out there don't know the difference and sometimes I have to think about which is which! Mossy is the more ethical choice... well done MsLabmouse!
