Sarla sings a medley of her favorite songs of Asha Bhosle

If Lataji is the soul of Indian music then Ashaji is the brilliant intellect and the mind of Indian music. O.P. Nayyarji gave her a unique identity singing songs with " oomph ". And Raviji gave her a chance to sing more versatile songs. So Ashaji who earlier sang songs that portrayed spoiled, rich, young girls also started singing songs that portrayed the main heroines such as Meena Kumari, Vyjantimala, Waheeda Rehman, Sadhana, Sharmila and others. Some of the movies covered here are Pyar ka Sagar that made me her fan, Vachan, Paigam, Tumsa Nahin Dekha, Sagai, Sujata, Naya Daur, Adalat etc. Kindly excuse some of my pauses in this medley.

Brilliant!!! Didi you remind everybody's childhood and this song was talk of the town once and none of the singers can replace that. Until now i thought it was sung by lata ji but it turned out that was asha ji who sung this. you sung multiple songs in same sitting and that's great. God bless you.regards:khalid
