I seen her live at the Nice Jazz Festival during the summer in the South of France. It was truly amazing.

To me she has the greatest discrepancy between her speaking and singing voice of any singer I can think of. I mean she sounds nothing like she sings when she talks..lol.
Hell of a singer though.

She is amazing! She is a great Blues singer and getting bluesier and better all the time but.......Janiva Magness is a great female Blues singer also. Check her videos out and be happy that we have these two beautiful women singing the music of the soul that we so love.
