Where is the original guy that okayed the flute?

The Beatles retired from touring in part because they didn't think they could recreate their complex Sgt. Pepper sound. But here are the Moody Blues doing the same kind of sound--I think Mike Pinder deserves a lot of credit for creating that sound. Sorry to see he'll never return to the band, but at least the music and his influence live on.
What a great band. Those first seven albums are a great achievement. They should absolutely be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Attention recording "artists" of today.... all of you wailers, rappers, crack divas, pop superstars and assorted wannabes. Watch and listen to the mighty Moody Blues. No expensive special effects, no dancers jumping up and down, no Mormon Tabernacle Choir sound behind them, no nudity. Just good music, performing talent and lots of feeling. Achieving what you'll never be able to achieve: true emotion and art.
