I went into the lab with the intention of recording some stuff for Taskmaster. Instead, this happened. I don't terribly mind.

  • @Xionkusanagy h is the antiair, so yeah

  • It only works with the H Jaw Breaker?

  • What if they tech roll forward

  • @AdelheidStark yeah i agree with you bro all the way.

  • @ShadowFiendIsHere I honestly feel it's good enough. You just didn't have access to reliable ways to get them to tech extremely low to the ground in Vanilla, but here you do. Yeah, it's not valid against most characters, but Spencer's can also do a million damage solo in a combo now, and of the 1.05m health characters and higher only chris, cap, frank, and thor have truly reliable ways out of this reset, so whatever, right?

  • @AdelheidStark yeah man it's fine. i was always experimenting with comnd grabs setups and i was fraustrated because it so risky :/ see spencer is my anchor so one mistake can cost me the match. so i thought in ultimate they would AT LEAST make it better like make him invincible during it i mean come on :/

  • @ShadowFiendIsHere Oh hey. You're right. Foot dive does get out of it off of forward/back tech. I still feel this is irrelevant though because you shouldn't try it against doom anyway due to his air dash, but I admit I was incorrect.

Vergil air S escapes the setup shown in this video, but starting with a 2L or the like instead of Jawbreaker has it as still valid (they tech closer to the ground), and doing Jawbreaker, 2M S sj (delay) j.H (delay) j.S j.236S is also valid against his air S.

  • @AdelheidStark your going to get hit out of it. since doom floats a bit before actually hitting you with the move. virgil air S. i tried the same exact setup correct spacing and all. got foot dived out of it into rape.

  • @ShadowFiendIsHere

Foot Dive would have to be over twice as fast to be fast enough to not get thrown. That's not an effective countermeasure. This is interesting because Doctor Doom actually does have an easy way out which is to use his air dash. So I'm not sure why you didn't bring that up instead? If you don't know the game enough to know that, then please leave. If you do, tell me how Vergil can escape this setup. Remember that his air L is 6 frames, too slow to poke out.

  • @AdelheidStark foot dive = dead spencer.
