This is me as Liesl and Ryan as Rolf singing "sixteen going on seventeen" in The sound of Music at Musical theatre village in irvine 2008!

sorry that the video is so shakey. i had my friend video tape it from the balcony and there was not tripod or anything (it was on a regual camera, not a video camera) and the video was in multiple parts so i had to edit it together so sorry its not the best quality!

despite all that, enjoy!

please feel free to leave comments! I'd love to get feedback and hear what you think of my performance!

  • great job jessie!!!

  • That's ok. apology accepted. = ]

and yeah, definitely let me know. I'd love to see your video.

  • Thank you so much! = ]

I absolutely LOVED doing it. I've wanted to be Liesl since I was a little girl, so it was a dream come true for me!

  • I performed my little heart out. haha

Sorry, but I just had to say all that.

But thanks for the positive stuff you said!

  • (in which we do have a bed and window and such, just so you know. hehe) and there is not enough time to change it. If this was a huge stage, yes probably. But on this one? no.

    5. As far as Rolf, that's your personal opinion. So ok. w/e = ]

    6. Thanks. I'm going to take that as a compliment! hehe = ]

But really, I had no control over any of that stuff, so I just performed with what I had. It was one of the best experiences of my life, so I didn't care. I just ABSOLUTELY LOVE performing.

  • 4. Like I said before, this is a SMALL community theatre;the cool thing about it is that we are able to make the sets so that we have barely any set changes, considering that the stage is so tiny. We DO have another curtain, however, the costume change for me is so incredibly fast and everyone is trying to dress me, that the curtain just doesn't seem important and we don't have time. It is like a 10 second change. Plus, the scene right after needs to be inside the bedroom.
