  • They gave him an Oscar tribute and yet John Hughes was never nominated for an Oscar, a Golden Globe, a B.A.F.T.A. or hardly any award and yet he wrote and directed so many classics. It just goes to show you how pointless and materialistic awards are.

  • Hughes deserved an oscar for The Breakfast Club, that film changed the lives of ALL teenagers for the better
