I think this is very fine playing, full of beauty and a sense of atmosphere. Ms Kurapova's performance for me captures the poise and wonder of this glorious piece of music. Maybe there's a little too much rubato, but we so often hear playing that needs rubato and doesn't have it, so I welcome it here. Bravo!

I disagree: her rubato is quite convincing, and you hear the 3/4 rhythm consistenly in the harmony

she didn't play a single bar of the theme in straight 3/4 time. im not sure how I feel about that. I would like the hear the rhythm he wrote from time to time too.
