That one moment when you are a little kid and then the series ends... Your first series finale.

This was a big moment. Batman had the honor of ending the show with the dignity and the spirit brought by "The Brave and the Bold." The three seasons were wonderful and are treasured by those who loved the fresher take of the Caped Crusader.

@MarcTaker Yeah and I'd really like to find an actual copy of that version. It's going to drive me crazy.

Cool ending!
Though I prefer the darker/more serious versions of Batman, I nevertheless enjoy from time to time light-hearted versions like this series.

To me there's room for all the many versions of Batman. What's great about Batman beyond all other characters is that he CAN be reimagined and redone and still, at the core, be himself. I can see where some would be worried that this show would have the same effect on the character that the 60's show did I think we're beyond that now. :)

anyone else recognize the piano solo of "If Only" in the background?

I like this clip very much

oh and you can hear this batman's voice in the dc nation trailer so goodnight......... (walk away, then come back) the hammers... are my penis
There's one DC Comics quote that I can't help but think of, from Death of the Endless:
"It ends. That's what gives it value."
I think this is one of the most bittersweet yet heartwarming endings for a series ever. I suppose it's like a party nobody wanted to end. But, in the end, the fact that we had it at all was what mattered. It's been a great run, and though I'm sad to see it go, we'll always have the memory of a brighter, wackier Gotham City. A brightest day. Goodnight.

This is seriously the most touching, moving series finale I've seen in animation. It really makes you think about what makes a show great. It isn't fancy animation, season spanning storylines, or even dark dramatic characters.
What makes a show great, is heart. And the Brave and the Bold had a lot of it. Kudos to the staff, for sticking with the show even when we didn't. You put out a great three seasons.
