There is a house ministry here in Eugen Oregon called the Last Resort operated by Pam Martin ( Kesey ) and Dale Kesey. They open their home to the homeless and have a large dinner feed every thursday at 6:00. Pam Martin was in Shiloh. Her married name now is Pam Kesey

I was in Shiloh for 2 and a half years. It was one of the best experiences of my life, serving the Lord with brothers and sisters. The Lord has been faithful all the years since!

Jesus people usa in Chicago, but why fixate on a commune? Is serving the lord more important or are you romanticizing something that was good for a time. If your a new christian find a good bible school with hi behavior standards, then look into short term ministries, and see what the lord finds for you. If your look for a commune become more important the getting grounded in solid doctrine you can end up in some bad groups.

I dont think there are any like the ones in the 70s, like communes, but there are churches here and there.. im sure you can find info where online.
