I GET WHAT STEVE SAYS THAT BY SUBDIVIDING THE 5 IS POSSIBLE TO MULTI LARE THE WHOLE PATTERN SHIFTING FROM A METRONOMIC RATE OF 3 TO 5 YET HOLDING BACK THE DOUBLES ON THE FEET, SIMPLE!

Steve's ability is beyond amazing. If I could learn 1% of what he has to offer, I'd be 100% better drummer. Even though I been playing maybe as long as him, I wonder if ever could do quadruplets with my left hand and with my feet , at the same time make a sandwich and have a conversation.

Steve is the current master of the the Drumset. Period. Weckl is great, but Steve is better..I love Neil but even Neil knows..

You know what?!?!?!?! I fucking hate Steve Smith!!!!!!!!!! Here I am trying to master a double stroke roll and some triplets and I see this. Okay seriously, this guy is a MASTER. Yeah, yeah, everybody refers to Neil Peart or Jon Bonham. Yes, they are great drummers but Steve Smith has THE pHD in drums.
