It looks like the "first world" is going with plan C. They will be cleansing most of the lower classes in their country (and later higher ones) and keeping the survivors for slavery. The slaves will not be using very much energy.
This plan will not work. The rich will destroy each other soon enough and we will be there to eat them when they fall.

I wouldn't call it "boring," but more of an action-packed thriller - a great "race." He's explaining a challenge for the survival of the human species. It may be mind-boggling, but not actually "boring," IMO.

even though this vid seems boring it is worth listening to. I think he's right in comparing the global economy to enron - that it's not based on real costs.
