Before you leave any snotty responses, answer me 3 questions:
1) How much do you have wrapped up in your gun, scope and bench vise?
My set-up was under $200, and that includes the table, beer, cigarettes and 2 boxes of ammo.
2) A sporting clay is 4" across and a ram silhouette is 5", does it look any bigger thru your scope then a1.5 inch egg does thru a $20 Tasco?
3) Could you actually hit any of those targets WITHOUT the vise or scope or the bipod?
...I can.

  • Does this also refer to airguns bench rest?

  • @kuvtsiscare You need a rest for a gun with a range of (maybe) 80 yards?

  • @Marcucco Totally. I use "rice in socks" as a rest. Works like a charm!

  • @kuvtsiscare You're never going to learn to shoot if you don't take off the training wheels.

  • how many shots did it take you to line up that shot

  • Just 1. I knew the scope was "on" when I put the gun away but wanted to be sure.

I have a vid on adjusting sights if you're interested, it's called "Marksmanship 101"

  • Marcucco.. You're awesome. Such a nice breath of fresh air seeing this video after coming from forums where if you don't have a leupold or trijicon scope then you don't have scope and you're laughed at.

    Very, very sad.

  • A+ thanks for keeping the spirit of the Marksmen alive.

  • Thanks for the video.

  • $3,100 dollars for Rifle sights $485.00 for rear Hoke Tang Sight. $158.00 in front sight. About 5.00 for shooting sticks. Yes I can repeatedly hit targets at 6/10's of a mile. Scopes only make the target bigger, not better. I try to avoid the use of them whenever possible. Thanks for making a very good point.

  • @Marcucco Thanks for the tip. That's what I thought too. I only use rest when sighting in my rifles.

  • @ajohnson The kinetics of the bullet are physics, the "chemistry" he's referring to is the multiple elements that come together to create the output is chemistry. Meaning you put everything together and then let it go without any intervening human action ("Marksmanship").

  • cool ill check it out
