Movin Right Along, written by Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher for the Jim Henson production "The Muppet Movie." This recording was inspired by a jam session between Martin Spitznagel and Brian Holland at the 2011 Scott Joplin Ragtime Festival.

  • Hey your awesome. Can you tell me two things, 1)What key are you in 2) are you playing this in the same key the song is in (in the movie) or did you transpose it? and three 3) Play like Scott Joplin much? Damn your very good.

  • @juvenal660 Thanks very much for your compliments! I think the film had the song in E major, but this arrangement starts in E-flat major and modulates to A-flat major.

  • PLEASE! I NEED THIS SHEET MUSIC. MOST AMAZING PIANO COVER OF ANY SONG EVER!!!!! YOU ARE INCREDIBLE! and yes every single capital letter was necessary.

  • @AndrewPsycho23 I appreciate your enthusiasm :) Unfortunately I do not possess the music and never wrote down this arrangement. When I learn a song by ear I don't usually write it down. You should be able to find the chords to this song on the internet, however. That could get you started on producing your very own arrangement!

  • This is amazing! Do you perchance have sheet music for this rendition?

  • @tambreet I'm very happy you enjoyed it! I don't possess any sheet music for this arrangement, and never wrote it down (such is the case with many of the videos that I've uploaded). However, as I only just explained to another person below, there are many websites that provide chord maps to various songs; I would suggest one of these webpages. The fundamental melody should be easy to pick out when played over the chords.

  • @bubbleboy099 I apologize for taking a while to get back to you; thank you for being patient! I never wrote anything out for this arrangement, it exists only in my head. However there are many websites that specialize in giving chord maps for various songs, and you should be able to find the chords at such a place.
