i believe during this time period it was quite common to redub music of foreign animation. -- in fact, we still do this practice today...the west is still opening themselves up to foreign music in movies. -- and foreign movies presented in their original language...

World class composer writes the music and then some dubbing studio feels the need to change it. It's like changing music in Disney cartoons.
