  • Fail.

No dedicated tools? Why did I have to buy the Campagnolo UT-FC090?

not to mention the 14mm allen/hex required.

I sell lots of wave washers for customers that have play in their new campy cranks... even though apparently its not possible to have play?

I really like the totally unique integrated-axle-on-the-right-crank design... never seen that before. Somebody should mention this to SRAM, Shimano, Truvativ, FSA...

Sorry Campy, you're losing your foothold.

    Bring back your square taper.

  • For Power Torque system assembly we confirm that dedicated Campagnolo tools for Power Torque crankset are not necessary.

For the disassembly it works the same but in this case Campagnolo is offering as optional accessories, two protection inserts to be combined to standard 2 arms extractors easily available in the market.

Weak answer and terrible solution for the carbon version of this crankset. I have designed and built a very simple and effective puller for this crankset (and offered to Campagnolo, who turned it down by the way). If anyone is interested, send an email to veloswan@cox.net and I will send pictures. Any machinist will be able to make it, it's that simple.

  • Got a centaur groupset because I'd ridden them on a bike a borrowed and liked the feel. Didn't realise almost none of the tools I had would be of use. 14mm allen wrench was the first thing I needed. Now I'm ready to remove them and I find my normal crank puller won't work and I need to buy a UT-FC090 like dominic. Really wondering if they are worth it.

  • Dam, i started biking on a performance hybrid type bike made by giant like 2 months ago. i wish i had enough money for a road bike. =(
