Can you cut out on Sony Vegas Pro 11.0??

Can you make a video on how to actually have cut out moving video clips on another moving video background? I've seen it before, but don't know how thats done. or explaining would be great too! :)

okay, i was able to make the outline around the character, but the background of the image isn't going transparent o.O

@MissPinkRosePrincess 1:59 is where I talk about making sure, under Path, the Mode is selected from the drop down menu as Positive, which will make the background transparent (selecing Negative would be vice versa, with the figure transparent, and the background opaque).

I have Sony Vegas Platinum Pro but it doesn't show up. Why?

@Wolvesareawesome4 Last I read, masking is an option only on Vegas Pro, not on any of the other versions.

@bertwerdenstein So it doesn't work for Platinum Pro Pack?
Wolvesareawesome4 1 year ago
@Wolvesareawesome4 Yes, that's pretty much what I'm saying:) If you go into Event Pan/Crop for a video file on your timeline, and you're not seeing an option for Mask, suffice to say, it doesn't work for your Vegas version.
