  • Hi. To understand the central nervous system, you have to know what makes up the central nervous system before studying its anatomy. Try my Neuroanatomy video #8 ... in the SECOND HALF of that video, i try to help you understand what is unique to the CNS as opposed to the PNS. Bye.

  • Why does an X flash towards the end?

  • Because i incorrectly said that the "Lentiform nucleus" consists of the Geniculate body and putamen... that is wrong.. it consists of Globus palidus and putamen.

  • yes- he states that the lentiform nucleus consists of the geniculate nucleus and the globus pallidus. That is incorrect - the lentiform nucleus consists of the putamen and the globus pallidus...
