Don Harrison was the best at Headline News and Chuck Roberts also...Headline News isn't the same anymore..different intro and all those junk shows on there now

Nice to see people recognize this man. I hate the news but when my brother was in Desert Storm my mother and I were glued to CNN. When you come home from school everyday and the first thing you hear is Don Harrison on the tube it kind of grows on you. He had a fantastic voice. I watched HLN at least once a day until his death, then stopped as abruptly as he did. Chuck Roberts was also great.

@fritzantonio yes this is my grandpa and im glad you think so highly of him. alot of people do i have found which is a great thing to hear, it truly is. and yes he died of cancer. which is the same cancer that my brother actually got and was cured from a few years later. the cnn studio actually named a news room after my grandpa and we got to have a personal tour around the atlanta studio.

@DoLLiiFreaxx if it's true that this is your grandpa, then i'm happy to see him again, even if its a rebroadcast...he is who i see when i think of cnn (i'm only 29). i have been looking for him (i couldn't remember his name) for some years now, he seemed to just disappear. I'm saddened to have realized, just today of his tragic death...i got motivated to look for your grandfather after getting news that chuck roberts will be retiring today (20 minutes left in his career)
